To get Points reliably, first identify an activity that changes the Points balance in your current server, then repeat it without collapsing the Food loop. Current community gameplay connects Points to colony unlock progression, and the developer sells an official 2X Points Pass. No complete official Points reward table is public, so measuring your own before-and-after result is safer than copying a fixed rate.
Identify the correct balance
Find the Points display and record its value. Do not confuse it with Food, which Workers gather and the colony spends on eggs. If the UI uses an abbreviated label such as PTS, confirm that the colony selector uses the same balance for the target you want.
Open the selector and read the live requirement. Community reporting on August 28 lists several Points colonies, but update changes are possible. Your goal is the current displayed difference between balance and target.
Measure one activity
Choose a safe objective available to the starter colony. Record Points before, complete the activity fully, and record after. Keep the server, skills, Pass ownership, and colony state unchanged. Repeat once to see whether the gain is consistent.
The official description confirms combat against Bug Creatures and Colonies as part of the game, but it only promises more ants and Food in public text. If a fight does not visibly increase Points, do not keep repeating it because a video title called it a farm. Test another current objective.
Build a repeatable route
The useful route includes preparation and recovery, not just the reward moment. Count the time to refill Water, rebuild fighters, restore Food, travel, fight, and return. A high reward that destroys the colony can have a worse rate than a modest objective repeated safely.
Keep Workers on Scavenge while fighters stage with Follow. Attack one chosen target, regroup afterward, and confirm Food still rises. Leave Queen defense at the nest or maintain a clear retreat. Stop the loop if losses grow faster than the economy replaces them.
Compare routes fairly
Use at least two or three complete runs for each route. Record total Points gain, total time, Food spent, lost units, and failures. Divide only after the full cycle, including recovery. If one route requires a specific colony or skill, label that condition.
Do not compare your base account rate with a player using the official 2X Points Pass. The Pass description says it grants 2X Points forever; its interaction with every event, cap, or other modifier still needs current testing.
Save toward an unlock
Once you have a stable route, avoid unrelated Points spending. Recheck the selector before the final sessions in case an update changed the threshold. At the goal, unlock once and verify the selector state, balance change, and any official badge for Army, Fire, or Bullet Ant.
For a longer community-documented target such as Termite, periodically confirm it remains in the live list. There is no benefit in farming toward an absent or changed entry.
Fix slow Points progress
If the balance never changes, verify the activity is completed rather than merely started. Test a different objective and observe the exact reward screen. If gains are inconsistent, control for Pass, skill, colony, server, and target differences.
If Food is the bottleneck, improve the Worker route instead of adding more fighters. If travel dominates, refill Water in advance and choose a nearer objective. If combat losses dominate, use a smaller safe target or improve command discipline before another attempt.
Points checklist
- Record the current Points balance and live target.
- Stabilize Worker Food and Queen Water.
- Test one complete objective.
- Compare before and after instead of relying on a claimed rate.
- Include travel, recovery, Food, and losses in the route cost.
- Keep Pass and Skill Tree states constant during comparison.
- Repeat the safest net-positive loop.
- Recheck the unlock requirement before spending.
Questions players ask
Are Points the same as Food?
No. Food is the Worker-supported colony resource. Points are separately supported by the official 2X Points Pass and current colony-selector reporting.
What is the fastest Points farm?
No universal current route is published by the developer. Measure available objectives with your colony, skills, and Pass state, including recovery time.
Does 2X Points work everywhere?
The official description promises 2X Points forever, but exact event coverage, stacking, and display behavior need live verification.
Continue to Colonies for unlock targets or Game Passes before considering a multiplier purchase.
